Sales Manager- Higher Education/ EdTech, DACH

RecruitHer is working with a global EdTech company that provides tools designed to improve learning accessibility and engagement across higher education.

They are now hiring a Sales Manager to own new business across the DACH region, with a focus on building market presence and winning new university clients.

This is a full cycle sales role suited to someone who understands how to sell into higher education, has an existing network in the region, and is comfortable building pipeline.

The role

You will be responsible for driving new business across DACH, working with universities and education providers to introduce solutions and build long term partnerships.

You will manage the sales process end to end, from opening conversations through to close, with full ownership of your pipeline.

The role is based in Germany, with regular travel across DACH for meetings, events, and partner activity.

The business is looking to hire as soon as possible.

What you will be doing

Building and managing a pipeline across higher education in DACH
Opening new conversations and developing relationships with university stakeholders
Running meetings and presenting solutions to decision makers
Managing the full sales cycle from outreach through to close
Converting opportunities into trials and long term customers
Developing relationships within the wider EdTech and LMS ecosystem
Attending conferences, events, and client meetings across the region
Using CRM tools to manage pipeline and activity
Feeding market insights back into the wider team

What we are looking for

Experience selling into higher education in DACH
Existing network within universities or relevant stakeholders
Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or solutions linked to digital learning
Experience owning deals end to end rather than relying on inbound
Confident communicator who is credible and professional with senior stakeholders
Able to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
Comfortable with travel and face to face selling
Fluent German and professional English

Compensation

Base salary €57,600 to €67,200+ OTE 10% uncapped
