I’ve spent over a decade working across education and EdTech as a founder, recruiter, and commercial leader, so I’ve seen both sides of the hiring process in detail. I built and scaled an education business over 7 years before successfully exiting, and since then I’ve worked closely with EdTech companies globally, hiring and supporting teams across sales, customer success, product, partnerships, and go-to-market roles.

Because I’m constantly in conversation with founders, hiring managers, and candidates, I have a clear view of what gets attention, what gets ignored, and why strong candidates are often overlooked. 1. Direction and preparation
Before our first session, you’ll complete a  questionnaire and share your current CV, LinkedIn profile and examples of relevant roles.
We’ll agree on the level and direction you want to target.

2. Career discovery
We’ll explore your experience, achievements, decisions and leadership in depth. The sessions (2x2h) give you space to reflect, gather evidence and return with further examples.

3. Positioning and writing
I’ll identify the strongest themes from your experience and shape them around the needs of your target audience.
Depending on your package, I’ll then write your CV, LinkedIn profile and interview narrative.

4. Review and refinement
You’ll review the drafts and share your feedback. We’ll refine the content so it feels accurate, natural and true to how you work and lead.

5. Preparing for your next move

Will you simply edit my existing CV?
We may retain useful parts, but the service is designed as a strategic rewrite rather than a light edit. We’ll first decide what story the CV needs to tell and then build the content around it.
Do the sessions take place in one block?
The hours can be split across several sessions. This is often more useful because it gives you time to reflect, find evidence and think more deeply about your experience.

Can you help me move from education into EdTech?
Yes. A key part of the process is translating your experience into language that EdTech employers understand while retaining the value of your education expertise.

Can you support an experienced EdTech leader moving into a C-suite role?
Yes. We’ll focus on the level of your decision making, leadership, commercial impact, strategic influence and readiness for wider responsibility.

Do I need to know exactly which role I want?
You need a general sense of your target level and direction.The discovery process can help clarify where your experience is strongest, but the service isn’t intended to replace a wider career exploration process.

Will my CV be suitable for applicant tracking systems?
Your CV will use a clear structure and accessible format. Relevant language and keywords will be included naturally, but no CV can guarantee success through every applicant tracking system.

How long will the process take?
The timing will depend on the package, your availability and how quickly feedback is provided. We tend to work best with professionals who are keen to get a ready CV within 5-7 days.

How many revisions are included?
One round of revisions is included. Further changes or major changes to the agreed direction may require an additional fee.

Will you apply for roles on my behalf?
No.This service focuses on your positioning, materials and communication. It gives you a stronger foundation for managing your own search or working with recruiters and executive search firms.
